• Paper-I (90 minutes): General English & Odia Language (100 Marks)
• Paper-II (180 minutes): General Studies & Mental Ability (200 Marks)
• Paper-III (180 minutes): Technical Paper (Station Officer - Fire Service only) (200 Marks)

Detailed Syllabus

Paper I: Language & English

• General English: Grammar (verbs, tenses, active/passive voice), comprehension, vocabulary, synonyms/antonyms, and sentence correction.
• Odia Language: Comprehension, vocabulary, translation from English to Odia, grammar, and sentence structuring

Paper II: General Studies

• History: Ancient, medieval, and modern Indian history, with a major focus on the Indian National Movement.
• Geography: Physical and economic geography of India and the world, natural resources, and Indian agriculture.
• Polity & Economy: Constitution of India, Panchayati Raj, administration, and India's economic planning and development.
• General Science & Tech: Everyday science, recent scientific advancements, and technological developments.

Paper II: Mental Ability & Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude

• Reasoning: Number and alphabet series, coding-decoding, direction sense, syllogisms, seating arrangement, non-verbal series, and mirror images.
• Arithmetic: Number system, percentages, ratio and proportion, profit and loss, time and work, speed-distance-time, simple/compound interest, and mensuration.
• Computer Literacy: Basic knowledge of computer operations and common software.

• Current Events: National and international importance, as well as state-level events.

Paper III: Technical Paper (Fire Service Station Officer only)

• Physics & Chemistry: Basic principles and concepts evaluated up to the +3 graduation level
